Kingaroy Peanut Capital

WOW what a wonderful drive to Kingaroy the roads were better than the major highways and we discovered some picturesque places. Bjelke Petersen Dam was a great find we never knew this existed we stopped and had some lunch before continuing on. Arriving in Kingaroy you can see the massive Peanut silos & the aroma from the roasting of the peanuts was oh so devine. Our stay here was for 5 days and Kingaroy did not disappoint. We found Gordonbrook Dam this place was beautiful, with lots of birds and the raw energy coming from the earth & water washed over us.. We found Mt Wooroolin Lookout what a beautiful view of Kingaroy. There was so much to see & do in Kingaroy unfortunately we just didn't have enough time to see everything. Great place to stock up on supplies before you move on.
